We
have a large, well equipped demonstration kitchen that has two
separate gas cook tops made by Viking - one with four burners
plus a char grill and one with four burners plus a char grill
and a griddle. We have two electric ovens by Viking that are
switchable between conventional and convection modes. We have
a large Sub Zero Refrigerator and two Sub Zero Refrigerated
Produce Drawers. We also have an Asko dishwasher, a Dacor warming
drawer and a Kitchenaid Microwave. The center island has a granite
top that measures four feet by 14 feet.
The center island and the surrounding counters provide ample
space for people to work in one of our hands on cooking classes.
The kitchen is well equipped with small electric appliances,
utensils, Wusthof Cutlery, All-Clad pots and pans, gadgets and
baking equipment of all types. Individual cutting boards are
supplied to each hands-on class member. Our service include:
Cooking Classes - We are a full time restaurant and, therefore, offer only a limited number of cooking classes - Monday evenings for our Culinary Skills Course, Thursday evening demonstration classes twice per month and once-a-month Hands-on cooking classes with a variety of topics and menus. In addition, we offer our Kids Summer Cam in the Kitchen Hands-On cooking classes each summer during June to August. Please consult our calendar for more details.
Private
Parties - We offer a large variety of private parties
using either the demonstration or hands-on format depending
upon the needs of the customer. We can also arrange live music,
psychics, dancers, opera singer and much more...just ask us!!
We have hosted birthday parties for adults or kids, anniversary
parties, gourmet clubs, wedding showers, etc.
Corporate Team Building Classes - We design
a challenging menu for groups from 12 to 30 and divide them
into teams of our choosing based upon culinary ability and work
together in a hands-on format to prepare the dishes in a timely
fashion. Every team that has visited votes us their favorite
team building activity.
Nine Week Culinary Skills and Techniques Course
- three hours once per week intensive hands-on course designed
to hone each participant's culinary skills.
Personal Chef Services - We send a professional
chef and assistant (if necessary) to your home and prepare dinner
for two to twenty. We bring everything including the food, cooking
equipment and clean up afterwards.
Catering - For groups from 20 to 300 we prepare
full dinner party menus including chefs demonstration stands
and make all the arrangements including rentals and entertainment.
