Chef John is the Chef and Co-Owner of La Maison Gourmet, a Dunedin (Tampa - Pinellas County, Florida) small business enterprise that, after having developed the original concept for the predecessor company in January 1998, and with more than 35 years and professional cooking experience of more than 10 years, remains a standout at 471 Main Street in metro Tampa's artsy comuunity of Dunedin, Florida. Even more impressive, is the fact that Chef John is self-taught, benefiting from practical experience and associations with other professional chefs, yet continues to reap the consistent praise of live television audiences, customers and other chefs.

Every week, Chef John appears on Tampa Bay's (WFLA, News Channel 8, NBC) popular “Daytime Show” as the resident chef. “Daytime” has enjoyed Chef John for more than 6 years on the show, sharing his secrets, entertaining guests and teaching viewers everyday gourmet tips! His specialties on television, utilizing a compilation of thousands of great recipes, are: Heart Healthy Dishes and Easy-to-Prepare Gourmet Dishes.

Chef John teaches and is an active participant in many of the current, fun and hands-on cooking courses at La Maison Gourmet, as well as Private Parties, Team Building events, Catering and Personal Chef Services.

In the past, Chef John has led customers to Provence and Tuscany for cooking classes and, with a group (individuals, couples, families, or corporate units) of 12 or more, will plan a return to Europe in 2008!

Recently, Chef John evolved the La Maison Gourmet experience further with the Jewel in its Innovative Crown; the La Maison Gourmet Wine and Tapas Bar, which in 2008, continues to be well-known for its live music, outstanding culinary delights and superlative wine selection, and is a popular and treasured part of historic downtown, Dunedin Florida.
